Low on budget?  There are many ways to make your own dry erase boards or whiteboards.  Here is one example, and all you need is a clear duct tape and paper!  It is taken from WikiHow.  For anyone who tries this, please do let me know how this works.

How to Make a Whiteboard (Dry Erase Board) With Clear Duct Tape and Paper

Ok, so, I love whiteboards. You can make this one with just white paper(or colored paper) and clear duct tape!

Steps

  1. Get your paper and cut it down to size. Take the tape and cut it into strips to match the size of your paper. Make sure that you put the tape on the paper on a hard surface. This reduces the chance of bumps. You want to try to get the tape as smooth as possible.
  2. If you are using white paper, you can use any color marker you want. Depending on the color, you may have to use a certain color marker. Whatever the color, make sure it is Dry Erase Marker!
  3. To erase, use your hand or cloth. Either work fine.
  4. Have fun with your whiteboard! Draw a design on the paper first. Cut it into shapes! Share with your friends!

Tips

  • Only use clear duct tape. Semi clear or colored tape WILL NOT work.
  • Personalize your whiteboard. Drawings, stickers, cutouts, your name, anything! Put it on the paper first and then the tape.
  • If you want to cut your erase board into shapes, cover the paper with tape first, then cut. Its so much easier.
  • An alternative to using clear duct tape is to laminate your paper. It takes less time, but finding a laminator can be a hassle!

Things You'll Need

  • Paper (white or colored)
  • Clear duct tape
  • Scissors
  • Imagination!
