(from an article on About.com by Randy Duermyer) I don't mind spending my hard-earned money when it comes to tools and equipment that will help me work more efficiently. When I look at the tools I use on a regular basis around my home office, I've grown to appreciate those that serve multiple purposes - the multi-taskers - because they provide extraordinary utility for their cost. Over the years it's turned out to be one of the most important tools in my home office. | | No comments for this item |

Marker boards, computers taking place of class stapleJune 2, 2002 Posted: 12:56 PM EDT (1656 GMT) WASHINGTON (AP) -- When architects turned a former Safeway grocery into a public charter school in 1999, they ditched the dusty chalkboards. Instead, each of the 17 classrooms at the SouthEast Academy of Scholastic Excellence got a glossy whiteboard and set of colored markers -- to the delight of special education teacher JoAnne Anthony. | | No comments for this item |
